Job Title: Senior Software Performance Optimization Specialist
Job Summary:
Algo Capital Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Performance Optimization Specialist to join our Trading Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a state-of-the-art Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a high-performance TCA system that meets the evolving business demands of Algo Capital Group.
- Transform ad-hoc analyses into high-quality, production-ready datasets that provide actionable insights for our trading team.
- Scale and optimize data and reporting pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and minimal latency.
- Ensure the reliability and continuous monitoring of the TCA system to maintain peak system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, operations, treasury, and technology, to drive business growth and optimize data flows.
- Develop and maintain strong programming skills in at least one major language (Python, Java, C++, etc.) and experience with data manipulation tools (Pandas, Polars).
- Familiarity with vector databases (KDB) and experience building robust, scalable data pipelines (DBT, Airflow, or similar).
- Proven experience with TCA systems, including benchmarking and pricing across various asset classes.
Requirements:
- Strong programming skills in at least one major language (Python, Java, C++, etc.).
