Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join the Forensic Autism Service based at Guild Lodge and part of the Specialist Services Network.

The team accepts referrals from the whole of the Lancashire and South Cumbria Trust footprint.

Main Responsibilities
  • Accept referrals to the Forensic Autism Service
  • Provide a full assessment of the individual's needs and provide appropriate action
  • Work independently and within a team
  • Communicate effectively with multiple agencies and service providers
About Us

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services.

Requirements
  • CQSW, CSS, DipSW or equivalent registration with Social Work England
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Experience and knowledge of working with autistic people and in forensic settings
