Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Class 2 drivers to join our team at Driver Hire Halifax. As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct timely and efficient deliveries and collections.
  • Perform vehicle checks before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Load and unload goods safely, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points.
  • Maintain communication with the transport office regarding any issues or delays.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
  • CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
  • Digital Tachograph card.
  • Experience in a similar driving role is preferred (Over 1 year required).
  • Good knowledge of Halifax and surrounding areas.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
