Position Overview

FM Conway is seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician to join our Plant and Workshop Division. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the maintenance of our extensive fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles.
  • Completing necessary documentation following maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborating with team members or working independently, while being adaptable to various tasks as needed.
  • Executing both preventative and corrective maintenance on our HGV fleet.
  • Ensuring safety by adhering to risk assessments and method statements, and proactively addressing any unsafe practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

We are looking for a confident and professional Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician with a background in mechanics. A valid UK driving licence is essential for this role. While prior HGV experience is preferred, we are willing to provide training to suitable candidates with relevant LGV knowledge and qualifications.
