**Job Title:** Maintenance and Operations Specialist
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance and Operations Specialist to join our team at Seed Recruitment Consultants Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the premises to a high standard, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our staff and residents.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the premises are well-maintained and in good working order.
- Assist the Manager with the operation of the Home, including property matters and maintenance-related tasks.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained, and that any hazards are identified and reported to the Manager.
- Keep accurate records of all work carried out, including maintenance day books, diary of major works, and monitoring of external suppliers' contracts.
- Assist with the planning and execution of maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements.
- Ensure the outside of the building and grounds are maintained to a safe and good standard of repair.
- Ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with legislation and advise the Manager of any problems.
- Perform weekly checks on the fire alarm system, water temperatures, and other critical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Check and maintain stocks of non-food items, liaise with the Manager for stocklists and ordering.
- Direct and check in deliveries of all goods and store them tidily in appropriate places.
- Assist with redecorating rooms as required, liaising with the Manager.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Experience in maintenance and operations, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
