UAT Manager Job Description

Global Insurance company is seeking a seasoned UAT Test Manager with over 10 years of experience in the insurance/financial services sector to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in an international IT program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust testing plans, test cases, and supporting processes aligned with the goals of the international program.
  • Perform UAT activities, coordinating with cross-functional business teams to ensure testing aligns with business objectives.
  • Leverage expertise in DevOps pipelines and automated testing to streamline testing processes.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to enhance efficiency and accuracy in testing cycles.
  • Proficiently navigate both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting approaches based on project requirements and governance.
  • Champion best practices in testing execution, ensuring adherence across the business testing teams.
Requirements:
  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in test execution, or related testing execution roles, within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • In-depth experience of testing methodologies, automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, HP UFT), and DevOps practices.
  • Proven expertise in executing testing across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to motivate and manage global business teams effectively within demanding testing deadlines and timescales.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

German fluency is an added benefit.
