The Role
In the capacity of a Lead Practitioner, you will exhibit outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities while guiding and motivating your team of Support Practitioners.
Your responsibilities will include providing support, mentorship, and guidance to your team, ensuring they maintain professionalism, accountability, and motivation, which in turn will lead to the delivery of high-quality care and support. Together with our Service Lead, you will also play a crucial role in ensuring our services operate within established budgets and adhere to contractual obligations.

About You
What we require from you:
- Experience in personnel management
- Understanding of effective service operations within the Health & Social Care sector
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care and support
- Thorough knowledge of SSSC Codes of Practice and Health & Social Care Standards
- Proven ability to foster and maintain positive, professional relationships with individuals receiving support, their families, and other stakeholders
- Capability to lead and collaborate effectively with others
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A solid grasp of professional boundaries, responsibilities, and accountabilities in supporting vulnerable individuals
- A dedication to pursuing and achieving a SVQ Social Services & Healthcare Level 7 qualification and PDA in Health & Social Care Supervision (if not already obtained)
Shift Patterns
As a Lead Practitioner, your typical working days will be Monday to Friday; however, flexibility may be required to accommodate evenings, sleepovers, waking nights, and weekends based on service needs. On-call responsibilities will also be part of your role on a rotational basis.
