Active Care Group is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Workers in Hawarden, Flintshire.

We are the UK's leading provider of complex care, supporting clients with spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, and acquired brain injuries to live independently in their homes.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our male client with a spinal cord injury. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Providing support with moving and handling techniques.
  • Completing domestic tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Engaging in social activities to promote well-being and independence.
Working Hours

This position offers flexible working arrangements:

  • 3 to 4 shifts per week.
  • 12-hour days or waking nights.
  • Regular, consistent work with set rolling rotas.
  • Zero-hours contracts available.

We require a commitment to regular monthly shifts to ensure continuity of care for our clients.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • A kind and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Flexibility and reliability – continuity of care is essential for our clients.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
