Job Overview

Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking reliable Class 2 HGV Drivers to join their team in Crawley for an ongoing role with immediate start. This position involves making approximately 5 to 10 drops on a daily basis with palletized goods throughout the South East and surrounding areas, utilizing pump trucks and curtain sider vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliveries: Safely and efficiently transport various items prepared by our clients.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with every delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular checks and upkeep of the HGV to maintain optimal working condition.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate delivery records and promptly report any issues.
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV License: Must have a valid Tacho and CPC.
  • Location: Must reside within 10 miles of Crawley.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with East Grinstead, Crawley, and the RH Postcodes and surrounding areas is beneficial.
