Job Summary:

The NWH Group is seeking an experienced HGV driver to join our team. As a Class 2 HGV driver, you will be responsible for transporting waste and recyclable materials in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle to transport waste and recyclable materials
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks and report any issues to the maintenance team
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and operational staff to achieve team goals
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Held a Class 2 / Category C License for at least 12 months
  • Valid CPC entitlement and Digital Tachograph card
  • Good knowledge of road networks and traffic management
  • A maximum of 6 points or less on their license (no DR, DD, CD, or IN codes)
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Good customer service skills
