Job Title: Head of Compliance and Quality

The Head of Compliance and Quality is a senior professional responsible for ensuring the Trust maintains high standards of quality and compliance across all services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and direct the development and implementation of a comprehensive quality assurance framework to support compliance and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  2. Provide expert advice and guidance on Health and Safety, care compliance, Information Governance, and internal policy to the Trust's leadership team.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners.
  4. Collaborate with the Trust's management team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the organization remains compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.
  5. Lead on the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the Trust maintains high standards of quality and compliance.
Requirements:
  1. Recognized qualification in Quality and Compliance (e.g. CQI, CMI).
  2. Proven leadership or managerial experience in a large, complex organization.
  3. Strong relationship management skills, with experience of working with senior external stakeholders.
  4. Specialist knowledge and understanding of the social care sector and relevant legislation and regulations.
  5. Experience of maintaining own knowledge of legislation, regulatory and industry developments.
Desirable:
  1. Recognized management qualification (e.g. MBA, MSc).
  2. Post-qualifying award relevant to the scope of the team.
  3. Registered manager/senior advisor with responsibility for a complex care service.
  4. Specialist knowledge and understanding of nursing care for older people.
  5. CQC requirements and processes.

Salary range: £65,000- £75,000
