Lewis Silkin LLP is seeking a talented Corporate Lawyer to join our Northern Ireland team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising clients on a range of corporate services, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and joint ventures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, including share and asset sales and purchases, and due diligence
  • Assist with corporate finance transactions, including venture capital and private equity investments, and pre-IPO fundraising
  • Work on joint ventures, including contractual structures, corporate and LLP vehicles, and tax efficient structuring
  • Provide general corporate advice, including insolvency and corporate recovery, statutory and regulatory compliance, and shareholders' and partnerships agreements
  • Assist with debt transactions, including loans and security, and general financial advice
  • Collaborate with tax experts to provide tax efficient structuring and reorganisations

Requirements

  • Experience in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and joint ventures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
