Job Title: Technical Design Lead - Data Centre Projects

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Technical Design Lead to join our Data Centre team. As a Technical Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering projects, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, and ensuring timely delivery of outputs to meet client demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical design activities and manage multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Assist in bidding and pricing of new opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and manage risk to AECOM
  • Manage and maintain design activities and production of design information across all DC disciplines

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified engineer (Chartered or equivalent)
  • Proven related technical experience
  • Recent experience working on Data Centre projects
  • Working knowledge of permitting processes, building systems, regulations, and construction types
  • IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines
