Fire Servicing Job Opportunity

This role involves providing fire safety services to clients in the East Midlands area, with occasional visits to the Liverpool head office. The successful candidate will use a company device to electronically report their work daily.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting, and FFE systems in social housing buildings.
  • Provide certification for serviced systems to comply with relevant British Standards.
  • Participate in the emergency call-out rota in the East Midlands region.
  • Ensure accurate reporting via the company-issued device.
  • Maintain health and safety procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Manage vehicle and stock levels to meet client demands.
  • Attend site meetings as required.
  • Repair, install, or replace fire alarm, emergency lighting, and FFE systems.
Requirements:
  • Experience in servicing and maintenance of Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, and FFE.
  • City & Guilds 1 & 2 Electrical Installation Qualification as a minimum or equivalent.
  • BS Fundamentals in FD&A Unit 1 & 2.
  • 18th Edition Training.
  • ECS / CSCS Card.
  • Comfortable with a field-based role across the East Midlands.
  • AOV Servicing experience and/or training.
Desirable Skills:
  • Servicing & maintenance of portable fire extinguishers.
  • Emergency Lighting Part 1: Design.
  • Emergency Lighting Part 2: Advanced Maintenance & Operation.
  • Experience working with Door Access Systems, Intruder Alarms, and Telecare Systems.
  • Relevant Health & Safety training, including working at heights or asbestos awareness.
