Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Stroke Medicine to join our dynamic team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery and future development of our stroke service, which offers a comprehensive stroke service including a Hyper Acute Stroke Unit.

Main Duties
  • Contribute to the provision of a consultant-led comprehensive acute stroke service, working closely with consultant colleagues and supporting thrombolysis.
  • Participate in on-call rotas and contribute to the TIA service by assisting in the provision of a daily TIA clinic.
  • Support the lead clinician for stroke in furthering service developments and provide support for stroke clinical governance.
  • Represent the Trust at CCG and Stroke Clinical Advisory Group meetings.
