We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at KnoWho, a global production company based in Preston. As a key member of our tech team, you will play a crucial role in developing brand new, bespoke systems to cater for our worldwide manufacturing sites.
Working closely with our experienced Lead Developer, you will have opportunities to progress, learn new skills, and receive 1:1 mentoring. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.
To be considered for this role, you will need at least two years of commercial experience in C#/.NET. You will be working with a range of technologies, including:
- .NET Core/C#
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Unit testing (nUnit, Moq, etc.)
- React/TypeScript for front-end development
- Visual Studio/VSCode
- Git/Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD
- Agile/SCRUM
- QA & Testing (the current developers test each other's work before releasing to user testing)
- Dapper, Jest, and Playwright for testing
- DevExpress
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications using C# and.NET Core
- Design and implement SQL databases
- Contribute to front-end development using React/TypeScript
- Collaborate with various teams to define, design, and build new systems and features
- Follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
- Participate in code reviews and create and maintain technical documentation
KnoWho is a £350 million turnover company with a Preston office of over 100 people. We are looking to grow by 50% in the next 18 months, and our tech team is UK-based and looking to further grow to build and support these brand-new systems.
Salary is £35-48K DOE, and we offer hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
