We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our dynamic Cross Sectional Imaging team as a Radiographic Support Specialist. Our department is equipped with cutting-edge technology and offers a diverse range of specialties. The ideal candidate will prioritize exceptional patient care and demonstrate enthusiasm for their role. Flexibility in working various shift patterns across multiple sites is essential, as we operate 12-hour shifts throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to assist Radiographers and Radiologists in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Perform patient cannulation and engage in preparatory procedures to ready patients for MR imaging.
- Contribute to the provision of a safe and patient-centered service, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Participate in weekend and evening shifts as required to support departmental operations.
Essential Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment, demonstrating a commitment to patient care.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients of varying comprehension levels.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
