Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lift Service Engineer to join our team at Allied Healthcare. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our elevator systems, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a designated lift service route, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Oversee the work of a lift engineer's mate, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality results.
  • Participate in a call-out rota, responding to lift breakdowns and undertaking planned servicing and maintenance work.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers, maximizing the first-time fix rate and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular service and PPM work at customer sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times, representing Allied Healthcare as a company ambassador on site.
  • Travel throughout the designated coverage area, visiting customer sites and performing maintenance tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Lift Service or Maintenance Engineer position.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as J Modules, and a strong understanding of lift systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent fault-finding, diagnosis, and repair skills, with the ability to work on both passenger and goods lifts.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and organized, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
