WRK digital is partnering with a rapidly growing digital agency in Leeds to find a talented Front End Developer to join their Shopify development team.


As a Front End Developer, you will be instrumental in delivering market-leading ecommerce services to retail clients throughout Europe, leveraging your technical expertise to maximize their return on investment.


We are seeking a skilled professional with a passion for problem-solving, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.


The Role -

- Design and develop high-quality Shopify themes and extensions, ensuring seamless user experiences.

- Optimize website performance and accessibility, driving business growth through technical innovation.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly document and educate on new features and platform changes.

- Assess the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Foster harmonious collaboration with internal and external teams, driving project success.

- Stay up-to-date with Shopify technologies and tooling, driving continuous improvement.


About You -

- Proven experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of best practices.

- Strong understanding of package management (npm) and build tools (gulp).

- Familiarity with React and TypeScript, with a passion for staying current with industry trends.

Bonus Skills -

- Confident use of Shopify's Admin and Storefront API's (GraphQL, REST).

- Experience with custom Shopify App development and Shopify's Polaris.

- Familiarity with Figma and command line tools, including the Shopify CLI.

- Commercial experience with Shopify Liquid.

- A history of championing coding standards and best practices.
