Job Summary:

Insignis Talent is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter - Assembly Specialist to join our manufacturing team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical products to meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • View priority build boards and select kits of parts for next assembly.
  • Establish assembly operations from parts lists, working instructions, and drawings.
  • Assemble and test products to specification, referring to working instructions and drawings, using air guns and spanners, with a focus on cleanliness of parts.
  • Ensure adherence to required safety standards and maintain good housekeeping in work areas. Utilize provided PPE at all times and report any health and safety concerns to supervision or the health and safety representative.
  • Support the implementation of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process, ABS.
  • Perform production and operations-related tasks assigned by the Value Stream Manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar assembly environment.
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Strong attention to detail.
