Safer Roads Unit Departmental Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Safer Roads Unit as a Departmental Manager. This role is a key part of our HQ Special Operations Division based at Hutton Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Strategic Direction: Lead the Safer Roads Unit to achieve its strategic aim and objective of reducing road-related deaths and casualties.
- Departmental Demand and Resources: Understand and be accountable for driving performance management, complying with financial and legislative requirements, and promoting a quality service.
- Implementation of Initiatives: Lead the implementation of local and national initiatives, working closely with internal and external partners, to ensure functions, processes, and services are fit for operational purposes.
- Road Safety Promotion: Promote road safety, reducing those killed and injured on Lancashire's roads, and bring offenders to justice when necessary.
Please note that as a condition of your appointment, you must undergo and pass RV Vetting.
