About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team in Nottingham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and monitor the well-being of clients living in supported housing services
  • Conduct support sessions with service users, addressing their needs and goals
  • Assist clients in accessing benefits and housing pathways, and signpost them to local agencies and service providers
  • Support clients in income management and tenancy sustainment
  • Collaborate with contractors to maintain properties and ensure they meet client standards
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, with business/commercial insurance
  • Experience in supporting clients with complex needs
  • Proactive and able to use initiative to manage a caseload
  • Previous experience or knowledge of social/supported housing processes
  • Enhanced DBS (on update service) Adults & Children
