Logical Personnel Solutions is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a HGV Fitter. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles at the company's Scunthorpe workshop.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess recognized industry qualifications and certifications
  • Have in-depth knowledge of ABS/EBS systems and their applications
  • Be familiar with Car Transporters and Moving Decks, including their maintenance and repair requirements
  • Demonstrate strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Possess a set of essential tools, with the option to bring personal tools to the role
  • Hold a valid HGV license, although this is not a mandatory requirement

The Role:

  • This is a mobile role, requiring the candidate to respond to breakdowns and servicing requests at various locations, including roadside and customer workshops/VMUs
  • The geographical area of coverage will primarily focus on the DN postcode area, with occasional travel to other areas as needed
  • The company will provide specialist tools and equipment for the role
  • A company van, uniform, and fuel card will be provided to support the candidate's work
  • The candidate will be required to participate in a rota system for call-outs and emergency responses
