Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team in the UK and Ireland. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for complex infrastructure projects.

As a key member of our project team, you will work closely with our experienced engineers to ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. You will be responsible for inspecting construction work, checking that all aspects of design are correctly implemented, and monitoring processes and results to ensure compliance with relevant safety, legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality design solutions for complex infrastructure projects
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability
  • Inspect construction work and check that all aspects of design are correctly implemented
  • Monitor processes and results to ensure compliance with relevant safety, legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist at the tender stage of projects
Requirements
  • Minimum 2.1 degree or Masters in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Experience in the field of structural and/or civil works is desirable but not essential for this position
  • Proven technical knowledge of design in steel and reinforced concrete works and proven ability to use relevant software
  • Experienced and confident with report writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships
  • Adheres to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health and Safety Regulations
  • Represent and promote Ayesa in a professional manner
