We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Accountant/Controller to join our globally recognised manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the Head Of Finance, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets. The position will appeal to a strong Financial Controller looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the transactional team and oversee/review sales ledger, purchase ledger, stock, cash, bank and GL entries
  2. Ensure that financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively
  3. Maintain statutory records for the business
  4. Manage company taxation (VAT, Corporation Tax etc)
  5. Fixed asset & capital allowances
  6. Treasury management, liaising with banks, forecasting & MI data submission
  7. Budgeting and forecasting
  8. Liaise with auditors and prepare audited accounts
  9. Project manage process changes and implementations
  10. Balance sheet reconciliations
Requirements:
  1. Experienced Financial Accountant/Controller
  2. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent
  3. Advanced Word, Excel & Database Skills
  4. Manufacturing Background - Advantageous
