We are seeking a qualified butcher to join our team at Moriarty's SuperValu Skerries. As a butcher, you will be responsible for assisting the butchery team in the day-to-day operations of this busy department.

Main Duties:
  • Assisting the butchery team in the day-to-day operations of this busy department
  • General counter service duties
  • Counter merchandising/displays
  • Providing excellent customer care to all customers
  • HACCP duties
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in the English Language both written and spoken
  • A minimum of 2/3 years experience working as a butcher in a busy premises is essential
  • Must have a strong knowledge of fresh meat/butchery products
  • HACCP trained
  • Must have excellent customer care skills
  • Must have strong people skills
  • Must have strong communications skills
  • Must be available to work early starts and late finishes and weekends
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
