As a TUPE Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the intricacies of TUPE transfers within our organization. Your expertise will ensure that all transitions during mergers, acquisitions, and outsourcing arrangements are executed smoothly, safeguarding employee rights and adhering to UK employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the complete TUPE transfer process, ensuring alignment with legal standards and best practices.
2. Facilitate open communication and consultation with employees, Trade Unions, and relevant stakeholders throughout the TUPE journey.
3. Conduct comprehensive due diligence to pinpoint potential risks and concerns related to employment terms, conditions, and liabilities.
4. Provide informed guidance to HR, legal teams, and senior management regarding TUPE implications, including redundancy, restructuring, and modifications to terms and conditions.
5. Prepare and assess TUPE-related documentation, such as employee liability information (ELI), consultation notes, and transfer agreements.
6. Ensure compliance of all TUPE activities with UK employment law and internal policies.
7. Maintain precise records and generate regular reports on TUPE activities and outcomes.
8. Address and resolve employee relations issues stemming from TUPE transfers, ensuring equitable treatment for all employees.
9. Support the broader HR team in executing leadership initiatives.
10. Identify and recommend enhancements to policies and procedures.
11. Assist with Employee Relations cases outside of TUPE as necessary.
12. Contribute to various projects aligned with the people strategy.
