About the Role

Fugro is seeking a skilled Communications Assistant to support the company's marketing and communications plan in alignment with the local and regional strategic sales & marketing strategy and the wider global communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging content for the UK and regional projects to build brand awareness and support the business with messages to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Support and deliver PR and communications activities as required for the region, which could involve activities for the Marine or Land business lines including news releases, social media activities, internal intranet, and creation of marketing collateral.
  • Work closely with the UK communications and Marketing Manager and Regional Marketing Manager to support the thought-leadership drive within the business and develop effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure all stakeholders are up to date with the marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or associated discipline.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop creative campaigns for communication programmes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
