We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Graduate Youth Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Graduate Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and mental health needs of vulnerable students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with complex social, emotional, and mental health challenges
- Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and increase student engagement
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Conduct assessments and develop plans to address student needs
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Criminology, Psychology, or related field
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those with social, emotional, and mental health challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
