Position Overview

Are you a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician seeking a fresh challenge?

This role is with one of the UK's premier automotive repair firms, specializing in collision restoration.

What we offer for a Vehicle Maintenance Technician:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Compensation: £38,000 - £45,000
  • Attractive individual performance bonus (potential earnings of £40,000 - £55,000 OTE)
  • No weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in disassembling and reassembling various vehicle makes and models.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments on vehicles.
  • Perform Geometry Wheel Alignment.
  • Handle suspension and mechanical tasks.
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicles pre- and post-painting.
  • Manage the removal and installation of bumpers and doors.
  • Repair interior plastics and seating.
  • Fix exterior plastic components.
  • Experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Windscreen repairs are desirable but not essential.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reinstall dashboards.
  • Address wiring issues throughout the vehicle.

Qualifications Required:

  • ATA/NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 certification as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Possession of a full, valid driving license.
  • Prior experience in an accident repair facility or with high-end vehicles is preferred.
