Job Description:
We are seeking a Psychology graduate with a 1st Class Degree to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will work with children who are considered vulnerable, typically with Autism statements and may be non-verbal. Prior experience in supporting such individuals is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with complex needs, including Autism, Global Delay, and Speech & Language difficulties
- Work one-on-one with SEN children, providing individualized support and care
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Participate in comprehensive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, including specialized manual handling training
Requirements:
- 1st Class Degree in Psychology or related field
- Prior experience working with vulnerable children with complex needs
- Ability to work one-on-one with children and provide individualized support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
