Position: Logistics Support Assistant

Working Schedule:
Monday - Friday: Starting at 6:00 AM or 12:30 PM

Compensation:
£11.44 PER HOUR

People Solutions is currently seeking skilled Logistics Support Assistants to join our reputable client.
This role is primarily temporary, with working hours from Monday to Friday, beginning at either 6 AM or 12:30 PM.
Shift durations may vary based on delivery routes, with an hourly wage of £11.44.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Support Assistant, your duties will include:
- Assisting the delivery driver in unloading goods from the vehicle to customers' residences
- Handling multiple deliveries
- Pre-calling customers to provide estimated time of arrival
- Completing an average of 5-10 deliveries per day
- Performing any additional reasonable tasks as requested by the Manager or Supervisor

Essential Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
- Prior experience as a Logistics Support Assistant (preferably in delivering heavy items)
- Physical fitness and capability to lift heavy goods
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts when necessary
- Completion of an initial online assessment

Desirable Skills:
A clean driving license is preferred for this role, though not mandatory.

Training Provided:
Comprehensive manual handling training will be provided by the client, along with a full assessment.
