CDM Recruitment Ltd - Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist to support research and development efforts in the life sciences industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing analytical expertise and conducting chemical analyses to advance scientific research and improve human health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of analytical tests and assays to characterise chemical compounds and biomolecules.
- Utilise chromatography, spectroscopy, and other analytical techniques to analyse samples and interpret data.
- Analyse and interpret experimental data, preparing comprehensive reports and summaries.
- Communicate results to cross-functional teams and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
- Maintain analytical instruments and ensure proper calibration and performance.
- Adhere to quality control procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in laboratory audits and inspections as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Strong background in analytical chemistry techniques, including chromatography, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and laboratory instrumentation.
