Job Description:

Overview:

IMT Resourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using Microsoft 365 (M365) technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Cloud Solutions: Design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet the business requirements of our clients.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead Architecture and Design: Lead the architecture and design of cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Conduct Assessments: Conduct assessments of existing cloud environments, identifying opportunities for optimisation and cost savings.
  • Ensure Security and Compliance: Ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements are met across all cloud deployments.
  • Mentor and Support: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Microsoft 365 (M365) technologies, including but not limited to Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, data protection, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with Cloud Migration: Experience with cloud migration projects and a deep understanding of the challenges and best practices involved.
  • Ability to Design Hybrid Solutions: Ability to design and implement hybrid cloud solutions, integrating on-premises and cloud-based environments.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, are highly desirable.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with IaC Tools: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Knowledge of Automation Tools: Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools, including PowerShell, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps.
  • Familiarity with DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
