Job Summary

Coleg Cambria is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursery Nurse to join our Toy Box Nursery team at our Deeside site.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the long-term planning and provision of the creative, social, and educational development of children, appropriate to their age and needs. This will include covering for the Supervisor when required, assisting with day-to-day organisation, planning, and preparation for meals, activities, rest time, cleaning, and laundry, as well as showing prospective customer parents around the nursery as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning and provision of the creative, social, and educational development of children
  • Cover for the Supervisor when required
  • Assist with day-to-day organisation, planning, and preparation for meals, activities, rest time, cleaning, and laundry

Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years' childcare experience, including 1 year working with 0-18 months children
  • Up-to-date awareness of relevant legislation and quality standards
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to and awareness of the importance of Safeguarding
  • Able to manage time - own and others
