Job Title: Consultant GI Radiologist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant GI Radiologist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our GI and HPB radiology team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and biopsy services across the Trust.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to acute imaging, providing in-patient CT, US sessions, and image-guided interventions such as biopsy and drainages.
  • Participate in GI and HPB radiology team meetings and contribute to the development of imaging protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including surgery, oncology, and gastroenterology, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to the teaching and training of junior doctors and medical students.

Person Specification:
  • FRCR or equivalent qualification.
  • CCT in Radiology or within 6 months of achieving CCT at the time of interview.
  • At least one year higher-level training in GI/HBP radiology at a recognised training centre.
  • Full GMC registration.
  • Fellowship in GI/HBP imaging.
  • Additional postgraduate medical qualification.
  • Competence in CT pneumocolon reporting.
