Section Foreman

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Section Foreman to join our Nuclear team at Kier Group. As a Section Foreman, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage safety on site, including conducting inductions, toolbox talks, and daily task briefings to site operatives.
  • Allocate duties to site operatives and supervise their activities to ensure tasks are carried out within their skill and expertise levels.
  • Co-ordinate with line managers to manage work methods, ensuring they are technically sound, safe, economically viable, feasible, and consistent.
  • Maintain daily records of site activities and liaise with line managers to produce information for progress reports.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of RC works and experience as a foreman or similar role.
  • Previous experience within a nuclear environment.
  • Ability to read construction drawings.
