Water Quality Specialist, c£30k+ We are looking for committed Water Quality Specialists who have a comprehensive understanding of Legionella Compliance Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing Legionella Risk Evaluations of water systems (Hot & Cold), identifying potential hazards, and executing corrective measures as necessary to adhere to legionella regulations.
  • Monitoring temperatures.
  • Conducting water sampling.
  • Carrying out tank cleans and disinfections.
  • Installing, servicing, and replacing Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).
  • Inspecting, cleaning, and disinfecting Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWSTs).
  • Offering support and advice to clients regarding water hygiene management.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar position, preferably within the Water Sector.
  • Experience with cooling towers is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of legionella regulations and guidelines, including ACOP L8 and HSG 274.
  • Industry-recognized qualifications such as C&G/NVQ in Plumbing and/or Legionella – or equivalent.
  • Possession of a full driving license and readiness to travel to client locations as needed.
  • Must be based in the UK.
  • Sponsorship is not available; candidates must have full leave to remain.
