Driver Hire is seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to fill a shunting position in Lincoln. This is an ongoing long-term opportunity with a minimum 3-month commitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform shunting duties within the designated area.
  • Ensure the safe and timely movement of vehicles.
  • Adhere to all safety and operational procedures.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 HGV licence.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Personal transport.
  • Hi vis and safety boots.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £14.75 for day shifts and £17.00 for night shifts.
  • Consistent 12-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday for days, and 18:00 - 06:00 for the position on nights.
