About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hungarian Games Tester to join our team at Universally Speaking. As a key member of our Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our games and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough linguistic testing of in-game text to ensure accuracy and correctness
  • Identify and report linguistic bugs using industry-standard bug databases
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure effective testing and support of all features
  • Develop and execute test cases throughout the project life cycle
  • Participate in test requirement gathering and contribute to the improvement of LQA processes
Requirements
  • Expert-level proficiency in Hungarian
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
  • Passion for video games and a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading
  • Working knowledge of CAT tools (MemoQ)
  • Knowledge of the video game industry and trends
