Electrical Engineering Project Manager

Our client, a leading engineering company, is seeking a Project Electrical Engineer to join their team in Wymondham. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the initial planning stages of electrical projects.
- Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to determine project scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Create plans and specifications for electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and wiring layouts.
- Choose appropriate components, such as wires, cables, transformers, circuit breakers, and switches, based on project requirements and budget constraints.
- Work with the procurement team to source electrical equipment and materials needed for the project, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
- Work closely with other engineers, such as mechanical engineers, system engineers, production, test, and aftersales teams.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of designs, test results, and project specifications.
- Depending on the organization and project scope, you may be involved in project management tasks, such as estimating project costs, creating schedules, and coordinating with other team members.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements, tools, and techniques through continuous learning and professional development activities.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in an electrical discipline, a solid understanding of 3-phase systems, and at least 3 years of experience in the field.
