About the Role

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Candover Clinic. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our paediatric patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care to paediatric patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Work closely with Paediatric Consultants and Senior Team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and training to staff and student nurses on paediatric care and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Person Specification

  • Degree-level education or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through any combination of alternative study or employment experience.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD) clearly recorded for professional profile.
  • Ability to demonstrate the required behaviour in keeping with the Trust values.
