We are seeking a qualified and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Poole Montessori Day Nursery and Preschool team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.
About the RoleAs a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging activities tailored to each child's needs, promoting their development towards key milestones. You will also ensure the welfare, protection, health, and safety of our children, as well as safeguarding their well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote child development and learning
- Ensure the welfare, protection, health, and safety of children, as well as safeguarding their well-being
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality care and education
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to the development of our nursery's policies and procedures
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
