We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Nigel Wright Group in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for income collection, monthly reporting, and management of recovery. They will also be required to maintain accurate records and ensure all systems are up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities- Collect income from a portfolio of clients
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on recovery
- Communicate with clients via telephone and email to progress payments and follow-ups
- Update all systems and records to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Instruct and follow up on legal proceedings as necessary
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year's experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong team player with a proactive and self-motivated approach
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Organised and methodical approach to work
- Excellent customer service and awareness, with previous experience in dealing with the public
- Basic understanding of the legal system relevant to credit control
