About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our team as an Environmental Consultant. As an Ecologist, you will play a critical role in our existing team, working alongside a friendly team of ecologists. Our company specializes in environmental consulting services, working on a range of large and small projects in the Highlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting a variety of protected species surveys
  • Performing bird surveys
  • Developing Ecological Impact Assessments (EIA)
  • Writing a range of Ecological reports, including PEAs, PRAs, EIAs, EcIAs
  • Liaising with clients, project managers, and stakeholders
  • Preparing fee proposals

Requirements:

  • Experience in ecological consulting services
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
