Job Summary:

We are seeking a committed and skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Kirklands St Helens Primary School, Preston. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, healthy meals for school children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the dining area for service, including setting up and cleaning equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and beverages.
  • Ensure all equipment and catering areas are clean and well-maintained.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
  • Good customer care skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Previous catering and food preparation experience is desirable.

Working Hours and Days:

  • Monday to Friday.
  • Term time only.
  • 7.5 hours per week.
