Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at High Well School, a Special School catering for pupils with complex and vulnerable needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning of our students, working closely with our experienced teaching staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing general support with learning activities, organizing teaching equipment, and supporting the positive management of behaviour. You will also have the opportunity to work with a talented and supportive Senior Leadership Team and dedicated Governing Body.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general support with learning activities, including preparing materials and resources
  • Organize and maintain teaching equipment, ensuring it is in safe working order and secure at all times
  • Support the positive management of behaviour, interventions, and rewards
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
