Site Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our Eastern Counties Division's Construction team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a construction development site, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient, and cost-effective works at all times, while maintaining the highest quality of work and customer service within the given timescales.

1. Manage the day-to-day running of the development and provide clear direction to those working on the construction site regarding their responsibilities and targets.
2. Implement and manage health and safety procedures, working closely with Bellway Health and Safety Managers, to ensure that all aspects of health and safety are followed and adhered to.
3. Motivate, support, and manage directly employed site staff, providing training, coaching, and support as required to improve performance.
4. Ensure site presentation is maintained at the correct standard at all times.
5. Deliver all aspects of production requirements in accordance with relevant technical and planning documentation provided.
6. Ensure compliance with building regulations and warranty providers' requirements.
7. Maintain accurate production/progress returns and site records, including site inductions and health and safety records.

1. Experience of working as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager with a high volume residential house builder.
2. Effective team management and leadership skills.
3. Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
4. GCSE Maths and English – Grade C or above (or equivalent).
5. Valid CSCS card at Site Manager level (or equivalent).
6. Valid SMSTS certificate.
7. Valid First Aid certificate.
