We are in search of a skilled Instrumentation, Control & Automation Engineer to join our team. This role involves working as a Technical Leader within the Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (ICA) sector, tackling complex challenges to ensure optimal performance of our assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive down alarm occurrences by implementing effective alarm management strategies.
- Oversee the installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment in accordance with industry standards while diagnosing and rectifying faults.
- Enhance asset availability through collaboration with stakeholders and contractors.
- Support upgrades of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and document changes to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to mitigate recurring issues.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop method statements to ensure safe work practices.
- Identify and escalate efficiency opportunities and risks, contributing to the overall risk management process.
- Engage in project development and assist in capital delivery initiatives.
- Audit compliance of contractors and team members with established protocols.
- Proficiency in PLCs, SCADA systems, and instrumentation technologies.
- Experience with variable speed drives and motor/pump starting methods.
- Relevant qualifications in instrumentation, control, and automation disciplines.
- Knowledge of electrical standards and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
