Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team as a Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse on Ward 25. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with diabetes and endocrine conditions.

About the Role

As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for leading the nursing team on Ward 25, providing expert clinical care and guidance to patients, families, and colleagues. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and contribute to the development of the ward's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the nursing team on Ward 25, providing guidance and support to junior staff
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective care delivery
  • Contribute to the development of ward policies and procedures
  • Provide education and training to junior staff and colleagues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Band 5 Registered Nurse
  • Relevant clinical experience in diabetes and endocrinology
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Up-to-date knowledge of professional issues and best practices
